ILLINOIS TOLLWAY OPENS NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE CALL CENTER AT UIC
 

What:   The Illinois Tollway and the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) will unveil a new, larger and more modern customer service call center staffed by The Chicago Lighthouse. A tour of the new facility will follow a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

What:     Under a 10-year, $3.7 million contract with UIC, the Illinois Tollway has doubled the size of its customer service call center space, enabling the Tollway to accommodate up to 200 work stations for call takers and handle more than 10,000 Tollway customer contacts per day.  Management of the facility is now under contract with The Chicago Lighthouse, a Chicago-based not-for-profit organization that predominantly serves members of underserved communities.
