Limited Library Services Continue at the Franklin Park Library
The Library will continue with limited services for Fall 2020. Library hours are Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm, and closed Saturday and Sunday. We strive to keep our patrons and staff safe and healthy by following proper cleaning guidelines and quarantining returned materials.
We ask that you follow these guidelines during your visit:
* Wear a mask or face covering over your mouth and nose
* Follow social distancing recommendations of 6 feet
* Keep your library visit brief. 25 people are allowed in the library at any one time
* Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water or use hand sanitizer
* If you are feeling unwell, stay home and utilize our digital services
The following services are available: browsing, checkouts, holds pickup, library card signup and renewal, restrooms, computer use of one hour per day, copying, scanning, faxing, printing, and curbside pickup by request.
The following services are unavailable: most seating, water fountains, in-person programs, meeting rooms, Local History room, iPads and toys. Staff will not be handling money, and no eating or drinking is allowed.
While we are happy to have you visit the Library, we reserve the right to refuse service if you do not comply with library policy (including wearing a face mask) during this challenging time. Additionally, the Library is prepared for the possibility of going back a phase and closing if COVID case numbers increase. Visit our website, fppld.org, for updates.
