27th. Annual Special Needs Ice Skating Competition and Hockey Game
The 27th. Annual Special Needs Ice Skating Competition and Hockey Game between The Chicago Blackhawks Special Hockey Team and The Wisconsin Timberwolves was held at The Franklin Park Ice Arena. It was a fun filled event for the entire family.
The day started off with the annual match-up between The Hornets Sled Hockey Team and the Franklin Park Fire Department. The Hornets wound up winning the game.
There was a total of 75 athletes that participated and everyone of them went home a winner. They all received an award and a goody bag.
The event was sponsored by Iron Workers Union #1, Chamber by O’Hare, Franklin Park Fire Department, KCS Computer Technology, Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Wolves.
