February 3 – Get Crafty! – Show off your crafting skills when you attend this make and take program. Grades 1-6. 4:00-5:00 pm

February 3 – Teen Volunteer Meeting (TAB) – Do you have a passion for your library? If you’re interested in sharing your ideas, gaining work experience, and improving the library for teens, then becoming a volunteer member is for you. Attend our meeting to talk about various topics, help make plans, and feast on pizza. Grades 6-12. 4:00-5:00 pm

February 3 – Tai Chi – Tai chi is a type of low-impact, weight-bearing, and aerobic — yet relaxing — exercise. People of almost any age or condition can learn it. Tom Wilkens of Dancing Cranes Yoga in Riverside joins us to lead you through each class. Please note: this is an active class. While you may take occasional breaks, you must be able to stand and walk on your own, unassisted, for the duration of the class. Registration is required. Limit 25. Ages 16 and up. 6:30-7:30 pm

February 4 – Chocolate Fest – Come to enjoy a tasting and celebration of chocolate. Bring a favorite recipe to share, if you have one. Adults only. Limit 25. Registration is required. 2:00-3:30 pm

February 4 – Night Owls – Join us for a storytime with your little owlets. There will be reading, singing, and playing. It will be a HOOT! Ages 0-5 with caregiver. 4:30-5:30 pm

February 5 – Library Quilt & Sew Club – Join us for casual discussion about quilting & sewing, and showing completed projects. We embrace all quilting and sewing skills. 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

February 7 – Morning Movers – Introduce your little ones to early literacy skills through reading, rhymes, songs, and play. Ages 0-3 with caregiver. 10:00-11:00 am

February 7 – Anime Club – Love all things anime? Stop on by with other anime enthusiasts to discuss and share. This meet-up’s activities will be based on the anime, Dr. Stone. We’ll be testing your anime knowledge through anime opening bingo and tasting homemade Senku Cola. Get Excited! Grades 6-12. 3:45-5:00 pm

February 7 – Love is Everywhere! – Come celebrate the season of love with us as we share stories, crafts, and a special treat. All ages. 4:00-5:00 pm

February 8 – Friends of the Library Meeting – The Friends of the Franklin Park Library support the Franklin Park Library by providing volunteer services, sponsoring library events, and funding library programs. New members are always welcome. 9:30-11:00 am

February 8 – Knit & Crochet Group – New members always welcome! Join fellow crafters from every skill level. Learn tips and tricks and share projects you’re creating. 1:00-3:00 pm

February 10 – Chair Yoga – Chair Yoga classes are wonderful movement opportunities for senior citizens and for any adult with limited mobility who wants to increase and maintain flexibility. Susan Wilkens of Dancing Cranes Yoga in Riverside joins us to lead you through each class. Registration is required. Limit 25. Ages 16 and up. 2:00-3:00 pm

February 10 – LEGO Club – Bring a friend to this drop-in program and complete the monthly LEGO challenges together. For kids of all ages. 4:00-5:00 pm

February 12 – Kids Knit & Crochet Club – Learn knitting basics by making a warm and cozy scarf. Supplies will be provided. Grades 2 & up. 4:00-5:00 pm

February 13 – S.T.E.A.M Jr. – All the fun of Full STEAM Ahead for the younger set. We will have fun diving into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math! Grades PreK – 1st with caregiver. 4:00-5:00 pm

February 15 – Winter Book Sale – Looking for a great deal on new or gently used books, CDs, and DVDs? Come to the Friends of the Library’s winter book sale! 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

February 18 – Intro to Knitting – Join us each month for an introduction to a different needlecraft. You’ll learn the basics and get started on an easy project. Supplies will be provided. Limit 15. Registration is required. 6:30-8:00 pm

February 20 – Kiddie Fun – Come visit the library with your little one! We will mix it up every month and have music, storytimes, crafts and playtime! Ages 3-5 with caregiver. 11:00 am – 12:00 pm  – OR – 2:00-3:00 pm

February 21 – Friday Flicks – Join us each month to watch a newly released movie! This month’s movie is Once Upon a Time in…Hollywood (Rated R), starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie. Refreshments will also be available. 2:00-4:45 pm

February 26 – Craft with Me – Stop by to create a fun craft or two with your child. Ages 3-5 with a caregiver. 4:00-5:00 pm

February 28 – Morning Movers – Introduce your little ones to early literacy skills through reading, rhymes, songs, and play. Ages 0-3 with caregiver. 10:00-11:00 am
