Cirque du Soleil OVO – the Egg and I…

This past weekend, Cirque du Soleil was at the NOW Arena with a revised version of OVO! This insect world is a movable feast of imagination for the eyes and the soul. The mind-boggling excitement of the artists create a magical kingdom-oasis of “awe” for the the inner child in us with the colors, the music. The contortionists, the aerial athleticism, the jumping, and the study of each idiosyncratic movement that defies gravity, combined with the details of the costumes that bring the insects to bigger than life proportions has never been so astounding…

And, of course, the incredible “egg” – OVO was not to be missed, an impressive, memorable experience the children and yourself never forget, stimulating their imagination and creativity. I first saw Cirque du Soleil at North Pier when they had the yellow and blue tent that was visible from Lake Shore Drive – ”Nouvelle Experience” – I was hooked.
