On July 28th. and 29th. I traveled to West Chicago by Metra to cover the Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 for People and Places Newspaper. Many people attended this event to view this great locomotive from the past.

Taste of Saint Gertrude Church 2019
Saint Gertrude Church held their annual Taste on August 17 and 18, 2019. There was a wide variety of food from around the world as well as song and dance. A great time was had by all that attended.
Looney Train Performing at North Park’s Summer Concert Series
On July 30, 2019 Looney Train took the stage for the final concert of the season for North Park’s Summer Concert Series. It was truly a rockin’ evening of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s rock and roll.
