On July 14, 2021 State Representatives Kathleen Willis and Camille Lilly along with Senator Don Harmon held a Town Hall Meeting at North Park in Franklin Park. Many issues were discussed from the state budget to gun control.

Dancing Queen, the ABBA Tribute Band performed at the Summer Concert Series at North Park in Franklin Park. Many people were in attendance and a great time was had by all!

Rico Performs at The Summer Concert Series at North Park
Rico is a band that is heavily influenced by Latin, African and Reggae rhythms. They are a very energetic band and highly entertaining.
Puppy and Dog Adoption Event at Pet Paradise Supermarket
On June 12 Magnificent Mutts in conjunction with Pet Paradise Supermarket held a puppy and dog adoption event. Many puppies and dogs found their forever homes that day.
Summer Concert Series at North Park
The Summer Concert Series at North Park began with the FeelGood Party Band. The band played many #1 hits from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. A very large crowd turned out for a return to live music after the Covid 19 lock down of the past year.
Memorial Day Parade
Memorial Day in Franklin Park is a solemn occasion. That is the day that we remember and honor all that served our country in time of war and all those that died fighting for our freedoms. Here is a video that I shot and edited from May 31, 2021.
Memorial Day Ceremony in Franklin Park
On May 31, Memorial Day, Franklin Park in conjunction with American Legion Post 974 held the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Veteran’s Memorial. It was a very distinguished ceremony with many in attendance.
A New Business in Franklin Park!
A new ice cream parlor opened up in Franklin Park on Franklin Ave right across the street from the U.S. Post Office. The name of the business is Luna’s Ice Cream. I was there on May 17 when they first opened. Here is a short video I created.
