Chicago’s Christkindlmarket
This past Christmas season my family and I went downtown to Daley Plaza to partake in Chicago’s Annual Christkindlmarket. While I was down there I took a few photographs for People and Places Newspaper. Here are the photos that I took.
Franklin Park School District 84 Students Performing at Franklin Park’s Winterfest
The school children of Franklin Park’s School District #84 performed at the annual Winterfest at Hammill Square. It was a beautiful night for Christmas Carols, Christmas lights, Santa and Mrs. Claus and hot chocolate. Here is a video from the performance.

Big Band Concert at West Leyden High School
On November 22, 2019 East and West Leyden High Schools cosponsored a Big Band Concert at West Leyden High School with a 1940’s theme. Here are a few photos from that event.

Park District of Franklin Park Grand Reopening of Community Center
On November 19, 2019 I covered the Grand Reopening of the Community Center in Franklin Park. The general public and local residents were invited to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony, open house and refreshments. Here are a few photos from the evenings activities.

Hometown Heroes Concert at West Leyden High School
On November 7th, 2019 Leyden High Schools sponsored the annual Hometown Heroes Concert. Students from both East and West Leyden High Schools participated. I was there to take a few photos and video of the event. The event honored all of America’s Veterans and First Responders.
