Drury Lane’s production of “Dial M for Murder” is simply marvelous. The set is absolutely beautiful, era appropriate, realistic, and elegant. This updated production brings an older classic to life with supreme acting by Jonathan Weir, Alexandra Silber, Erik Hellman, Amanda Drinkall, and Ian Paul Custer, all delivering excellent dialects. The action is riveting and suspenseful with wonderful foreboding music and just the right amount of eerie sound effects. Costumes are extremely well done, perfect for the time period – understated and posh. Lighting design is well executed and adds to the chilling atmosphere. Murder mystery fans will love the build near the climactic end.

This show is a must for any theater goer that enjoys a great drama, thriller, or period play – it has something for everyone. Drury Lane is also updating their lovely theater with very comfortable new seats and luxurious carpeting as part of the renovations already in place. Don’t miss the magic that is synonymous with this professional and exquisite theater; you only have until October 26th to witness the unfolding of this mystery – please see www.drurylanetheatre.com for tickets or more information.
